Environment Day
The United Nations established June 5 as World Environment Day. On this date in 1972, the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment was held in Stockholm. There, the fundamental right of all people to freedom and equality in an environment of sufficient quality to live with dignity and well-being was declared for the first time.
6th Impenetrable Rural Bike Challenge
The 6th edition of the Impenetrable Challenge – Rural Bike is coming. Around 100 riders from more than 10 provinces are expected. The 130 km course is one of the longest and most demanding rural bike races in Argentina, taking place deep within the Impenetrable Chaco forest.
Miraflores Anniversary No. 86

International Jaguar Day
International Jaguar Day is celebrated every November 29th to raise awareness about the conservation of the largest feline in the Americas (Panthera onca). This day aims to highlight the critical situation of jaguars in Argentina, where fewer than 250-300 remain, and emphasize their role as a keystone species essential for the balance of ecosystems. In Miraflores, we celebrate Impenetrable Jaguar Day.
