Created on October 22, 2014, it protects 128,000 hectares of Chaco forest, one of the most valuable and least altered ecosystems in the country.
Its name is no coincidence: the dense vegetation, thorny shrubs, and challenging paths gave identity to this unique region, where nature sets the pace.
Located in the General Güemes department, between Miraflores, Nueva Pompeya, El Sauzalito, and El Espinillo, the park shelters a vast biodiversity corridor between the Bermejo and Bermejito rivers.
